EAST HAVEN, CT — Get ready to toss for a cause! On Monday, December 15th at 5:30 PM, the Elite Hockey Academy (EHA) will take on the Norwich Hockey Club in their Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game at the East Haven Ice Rink — one of the most heartwarming nights of the season.
Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the game, and when EHA scores their first goal, the crowd will toss the teddy bears onto the ice in a flurry of holiday cheer! Every stuffed animal collected will be donated to Yale Children’s Hospital, bringing comfort and smiles to kids spending the holidays in the hospital.
The night promises fast-paced hockey, festive fun, and community spirit — a perfect way to celebrate the season while making a difference.
“This is one of our favorite traditions,” said EHA staff Zach Schatz. “Seeing the ice covered in teddy bears and knowing it’s all going to kids who need a little extra joy — that’s what it’s all about.”
