Coaches Wanted for the 2019-2020 Season!

Guilford, Conn., - The Elite Hockey Program is looking for coaches!  As our competitive Tier 1/AAA hockey program continues to grow we need to add more coaches to our staff for the 2019-20 season.  We are currently looking for head and/or assistant coaches for our 18U, 16U, 15U, 14U, 13U, 12U, 11U, 10U, 8U levels. 

President Peter Alden and his professional staff offer a unique top level program for boys that include specialized instruction with a strong focus on dynamic skating, skill development, goalie instruction, team concepts, strength, conditioning and building leadership skills. At the Elite Hockey Program, everyone needs to be unified and committed. The clearest way that comes through is in our training.

Elite Hockey Program is a highly competitive tier 1/AAA hockey program for boys located at the Northford Ice Pavilion in Northford, Connecticut, just a few miles away from NCAA division one powerhouses, Yale University and Quinnipiac University.  The Elite Hockey Program is entering its third season and in that time we have doubled our participant level, created a face-paced on-ice and off-ice development program playing in the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) and East Coast Elite League (ECEL). 

Our team of coaches is solely committed to our players. Our staff spends their day working on the development, exposure, and advancement of our players to help them prepare for their next steps as a strong student-athlete.

Minimum Position Requirements

Experience in coaching, a strong background in hockey and player development and skills training.

Our coaching stipends are competitive and we provide our coaches with the resources and tools necessary to be successful at the Tier 1/AAA level. Individual must be available for practices on week days 2-3 days per week, which can be between 5:00 (earliest) through 9:00 PM (latest end time) and any time during Saturday and Sunday.  Stipend and expense reimbursement will be provided and negotiated.
