Guilford, Conn., – The Elite Hockey Academy is proud to announce that 18U Academy Defenseman, Logan Carey has signed a contract with the Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL).

Carey, a native of Texas, tallied 1 goal and 13 assists for 14 points in 54 games this season. He was part of the team’s leadership group and has left a big impact on the program the past 3 seasons. In his 3 seasons with Elite, he has totaled 37 points and played in 152 games.

Coach Nick Mangone had this to say about Carey, “Logan was a pleasure to coach, his worth ethic and his drive to want to get better each and everyday was astounding. His conscientiousness through his three years at EHA paved the way embodying others on what it means to play for Elite. I look forward to see Logan continue to develop and succeed at the next level.”

When asked about his experience with Elite, Logan stated, “During my three years at Elite Hockey Academy, I was coached by some extremely knowledgeable staff which developed me into a more versatile player. Meanwhile, Notre Dame instilled in me a strong academic foundation, teaching me discipline and time management skills crucial for success both on and off the ice. The camaraderie and memories forged at Elite Hockey Academy will always hold a special place in my heart, as I cherish the friendships and experiences shared with my incredible teammates”.

We would like to wish Logan the best of luck in his future endeavors and are excited to see him excel at the next level.
