Elite Hockey Academy is proud to announce a new partnership with Pro Crease Goaltending (PCG), one of the premier goaltending development organizations in the Northeast. This collaboration strengthens Elite Hockey Academy’s commitment to providing a complete, high-performance development model for its student-athletes – both on and off the ice.
Through this partnership, Pro Crease Goaltending will deliver specialized, position-specific goaltending instruction to Elite AAA and Elite Hockey Academy goaltenders, aligning elite technical training with the Academy’s professional coaching environment and exposure-driven model.
“We at Pro Crease Goaltending are exhilarated to be a part of the development taking place with Elite AAA and their Academy program,” said Jared Waimon, Owner and Founder of Pro Crease Goaltending. “Taking part in such a positive and growth-orientated culture is exciting. We are looking forward to delivering functional, focused, and detailed training for the Elite AAA goaltenders.”
Founded in 2008, Pro Crease Goaltending is the largest goaltending-specific instructional organization in Connecticut and New York, with additional programming across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. PCG works with a wide range of athletes, from youth players to prep school, NCAA Division I-III, and professional prospects. Training is conducted at some of the region’s most respected facilities, including Avon Old Farms School, South Kent School, Westminster School, Chelsea Piers Connecticut, and Newington Arena.
Waimon brings elite-level experience to the partnership, currently serving as the Goaltending Scout for the Tampa Bay Lightning, back-to-back Stanley Cup Champions in 2020 and 2021. He previously spent five seasons as the Goaltending Coach at Quinnipiac University, helping guide the Bobcats to three NCAA Tournament appearances and a Frozen Four title game in 2016. During his tenure, both Quinnipiac goaltenders under his direction signed NHL contracts. His background also includes roles with USA Hockey’s National Development Team Program, Trinity College, and USA Hockey’s Women’s National Team Evaluation Camp.
Elite Hockey Academy’s mission is to prepare student-athletes for the next level athletically, academically, and personally. Competing in top Tier I leagues such as the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL), Power Prep Hockey League (PPHL), and Connecticut Hockey Conference (CHC), Elite Hockey Academy offers a 60–65 game AAA schedule that is consistently scouted by Prep, Junior, NCAA, and NHL programs.
The addition of Pro Crease Goaltending further enhances Elite Hockey Academy’s Complete Development Model, which already includes full-time professional coaching, structured skill development, strength and conditioning, video analysis, baseline testing, and dedicated goalie coaching multiple times per week.
This partnership reinforces Elite Hockey Academy’s commitment to excellence and long-term player advancement, ensuring goaltenders receive elite, position-specific instruction within a culture focused on growth, consistency, and preparation for the highest levels of the game.
