Matt Beck is a former University of Vermont goaltender who most recently served as an Assistant Coach in the USHL with the Omaha Lancers. In addition to his time behind the bench, Matt also worked as Director of Player Personnel and Video at the University of Nebraska Omaha, gaining valuable experience in player evaluation, systems implementation, and video analysis. He brings elite junior hockey experience, detailed preparation, and a structured, development-focused approach that helps players understand and execute at a high level.

Devin Edgerton brings extensive professional playing experience across Europe and the United States, competing in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and North America. Having played in multiple high-level systems and competitive environments, Devin understands what it takes to succeed at the professional level. He brings a pro mindset, accountability, and a high standard of compete to the rink each day, helping players develop habits that translate beyond youth and junior hockey.

Phil Esposito brings a strong background in both professional playing and coaching, with experience in the ECHL and SPHL along with years of hands-on player development. Phil most recently served as Head Coach of our 16U Academy team, where he helped establish a culture built on accountability, pace, and attention to detail. His ability to connect with players while pushing them to reach higher standards continues to elevate the overall environment within the program.

Jake Fuss returns to EHA as an alumnus who understands firsthand the expectations and culture of the academy. A State Player of the Year and state champion at Fairfield Warde, Jake went on to win a Robertson Cup before starring at the University of New England, where he made two Frozen Four appearances. He later played professionally in Huntsville, Germany, and Macon, gaining valuable experience at the next level. Jake brings recruiting insight, recent high-level playing experience, and a genuine passion for mentorship and player development to the bench.

Robbie Nolan returns to EHA as a former alumnus, bringing firsthand knowledge of what it takes to develop within the program and advance to the next level. After his time at EHA, Robbie went on to play junior hockey, gaining valuable experience in competitive, high-performance environments that shaped his understanding of preparation, accountability, and player development. His familiarity with the academy culture allows him to connect with players while reinforcing the habits and structure needed for long-term success.

Zach Tyson played collegiately at Hobart College, where he served as a two-year captain, including one season as assistant captain and one as team captain, helping lead the program to a National Championship. Zach brings strong leadership, attention to detail, and a structured approach to development, emphasizing teamwork, consistency, and daily habits that prepare players to compete at higher levels of hockey.

Kurt Garceau brings a strong athletic background and passion for player development, shaped by his experience as a hockey player at The Canterbury School. He emphasizes discipline, work ethic, and creating a positive, competitive environment where young athletes can build confidence and develop their skills. As the owner of North Haven CrossFit, Kurt brings valuable knowledge in strength, conditioning, and overall athletic development, helping players establish strong habits while building a foundation for long-term success.

Peter Alden brings high-level playing experience and a strong foundation in player development, shaped by his time as an NCAA Division I athlete at UMass Amherst and Quinnipiac University. Known for his leadership, structure, and attention to detail, Peter focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game while creating a positive and disciplined environment for young players to grow. His approach emphasizes skill development, hockey IQ, and building strong habits that support long-term success both on and off the ice.
