18U Split Season Coach

Rob Salzano grew up playing youth hockey in Connecticut and attended Guilford High School from 1992 to 1996, helping lead the team to a Division II State Championship. He went on to play at the University of Scranton from 1996 to 2000 in the ECAC. With over 16 years of coaching experience in Connecticut, Rob founded SKATE Training Facility in Hamden in 2019, where he has worked with players from mites through prep school and built a strong reputation for skill development. He joined Elite Hockey Academy in 2022 and will return for the 2026 to 27 season while also serving as an Assistant Coach for West Haven High School.
