It’s all happening.  ECEL Playoffs this Weekend in Boston!

Guilford, Conn., - Elite Hockey 16U and 15U teams travel to Hingham, Massachusetts this weekend for the East Coast Elite League (ECEL) Championship.  Both teams will play 3 round robin games in hopes of advancing to the semi- final and championship rounds on Sunday.   Teams are ranked in order by their regular season record in ECEL league play.

The top ranked 16U team (8-3-1 in ECEL 16U Division), led by Aidan Coupe  (16 points, 6 g, 10a in 12 ECEL games) will play Friday at 7:00 PM against the Mount Academy from Nova Scotia.  Saturday, the 16U’s will battle West Coast Renegades at 9:40 AM before taking on NH Avalanche at 6:50 PM.

Also in action, the top ranked 15U team (8-3 in ECEL 15U Division), led by Logan Nickerson (13 points, 4g, 9 a in 11 ECEL games) looks to be a key offensive threat.  On Friday, EHP takes on Boston Advantage at 3:10 PM before facing NJ Titans at 8:30 AM and West Coast Renegades at 5:10 PM on Saturday.

“Both teams are really excited about ECEL Playoffs this weekend,” stated Peter Alden, EHP President and 16U Head Coach.  “Both teams have prepared themselves with good intensity in practices and really being on point with mental preparation.  We are very excited to see how the weekend plays out. We want the Cup.”
