Guilford, Connecticut., - Coming off a winning weekend at the ECEL Holiday Classic,  the 16U Elite Hockey Program now hits the road for another big showcase, this time at the Hill Academy Showcase in Toronto, Canada.

The 16U team is riding a big weekend, with victories against Hill Academy, Colorado Rampage and Seacoast Spartans. The 16’s will turn the page to face top opponents in Toronto which include, Toronto Titans, London Jr Knights, Central Ontario Wolves and Hill Academy.

“We want to do trips like this to get our players ready for the next level and prepare them for what it’s like to have to travel and go through the grind of playing on the road in big venues verse high level competition.  Said 16U Coach Peter Alden.  “The season is still young for us.  We know we’re a good team.  We want to be a team that’s competing every night and we want to be a team that comes to the rink every day and putting the work to get better every day.” Said Alden

Puck drop for the games in Canada is set for 12:15 p.m. against Toronto Titans and will continue with action packed competition throughout the weekend at the Scotiabank Pond in Ontario, Canada.

At the Elite Hockey Program, we want student-athletes to find a college that matches  their academic and athletic interests.   One of the most frequently asked questions in hockey are, “How do I get noticed?” “What do I have to do to get to the next level?” There is no simple answer, but players must make themselves attractive and visible to programs. The Elite Hockey Program takes a unique approach to help players and families better understand what it takes to play at the next level and how to narrow the gap between potential and performance.   CLICK HERE to fill out a recruit questionnaire and your information will be forwarded to our Hockey Operations Staff.
