Guilford, Conn., - The Elite Hockey Program (EHYH), proud members of the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) and East Coast Elite League (ECEL) is excited to participate in the 2018-2019 showcase series at the ECEL Fall Classic, October 6-8 in Walpole, Mass at the Rodman Arena. 

Sixteen organizations will play four games each in their respective 18U, 16U and 15U divisions at the Rodman Arena.    The East Coast Elite League (ECEL) is made up of USA Hockey-sanctioned and Hockey Canada teams that compete throughout the season in a showcase series in New England, unmatched in its format and exposure opportunities.

“With the growing popularity and strength of the East Coast Elite League (ECEL) and the elite level competition it brings, we are able to have this wonderful opportunity at this high level event in Boston.  Our mission is to keep setting the bar higher and events like these attract teams and scouts from every level for maximum competition and exposure for our players.” Said, Elite Hockey Program, President, Peter Alden.

The first event of the ECEL Showcase season will play host to teams from all over the continent; from the California Ontario Reign (Riverside, CA), Hill Academy (Ontario, Canada), NJ Titans (New Jersey), West Coast Renegades (Park City Utah), Boston Advantage (Boston, MA), The Mount Academy (Nova Scotia), Newbridge Academy (Nova Scotia and more!

About the Elite Hockey Program:

The Elite Hockey Program operates out of the Northford Ice Pavilion in Northford, CT.  The Elite Hockey Program is located right outside of New Haven, CT, just a few miles away from NCAA division one powerhouses, Yale University and Quinnipiac University.  The Northford Ice Pavilion is a three sheet facility, equipped with custom locker rooms for the Elite Hockey teams and 5,000 sq. ft. training facility for program’s strength and conditioning.

At the Elite Hockey Program, we provide a complete hockey experience, to help our players prepare for their next level of play. It is our developmental path that our players are given, the exposure they receive and the location we are in that makes us an attractive destination for a strong student athletes.  We strongly believe in our culture and consistency. In order to develop a more complete player, we focus our energy on individual player development and teach our players to understand how their role fits into the identity of our team’s success.
