Guilford, Conn. — The Elite Hockey Program has been busy this off season developing their development path and their 2018-2019 schedules, which were released today by President, Peter Alden.

The Elite Hockey Programs is excited to focus its efforts predominately in the northeast this season with exposure to over 60 NCAA Division I/III programs within a three hour radius to their facility in Northford, CT. The Elite Hockey Program will take on some of the top teams in the country this season that consist of league members in the AYHL and East Coast Elite League (ECEL).

"We are really excited about our upcoming season schedules.  With the full membership in the AYHL & ECEL, we will play some of the strongest teams in the nation as these leagues are seen by many junior hockey and collegiate scouts as one of the top hockey leagues in the country. We look forward to becoming a strong partner in the ECEL & AYHL and providing Elite Hockey players with high end competition and exposure to scouts at every level,” said Elite Hockey Program President, Peter Alden.

The Elite Hockey Program 18U, 16U, 15U & 14U levels will kick off the season on August 27th with an intensive training camp before heading off to the ECC Labor Day Cup in Boston, MA. After the season opener at the Labor Day Cup, the Elite Hockey Program 18U, 16U & 15U & 14U levels will hit the ground running as they get right into league games in the AYHL, ECEL showcases and top flight events in the northeast.

The Elite Hockey Program (EHP) hockey teams will play 60-65 games during the 2018-19 season and practice up to three to four times per week. Also highlighting the schedule will be 8-10 showcase events that include Boston, New Jersey, Toronto and Connecticut. Among those contests, games will be against North Jersey Avalanche, Boston Advantage, YALE, Selects Academy, Philadelphia Jr Flyers, Midfairfield, NJ Titans, Hill Academy and more!

“The future of our hockey program is extremely bright and further motivates all of us as a staff to have a break out year with the Elite Hockey Program. All the Elite Hockey Program teams have great potential for success at the national level. I know our players and coaches are taking the off season seriously and our hope is to bring this program to another level this upcoming season,” said Alden.
