18U FORWARD PERHONEN SIGNS WITH THE CONNECTICUT ROUGHRIDERS

Guilford, Conn., - -Tuomas Perhonen, joins the growing list of Elite Hockey Program alumni that will be playing at the next level for the 2018-19 season.  Tuomas, a forward for the 18U Elite Hockey Program, has signed to play for the Connecticut Roughriders for the fall of 2018. The '99 native of Finland just finished his first season with the 18U Elite Hockey Program, ending his time in the 18U Program, suiting up 73 games this season.

"Tuomas made great strides this year for us."  Said 18U Head Coach, Luke Curadi.  “We really utilized Tuomas in a lot of situations as he can play forward and defense.  He is tough, dynamic and has a terrific work ethic. We are proud of his accomplishments and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.”

As Curadi mentioned, Perhonen will continue to develop in a strong EHL junior league for the RoughRiders.  The Connecticut RoughRiders® are based out of the SoNo Ice House in Norwalk, Connecticut. The CT RoughRiders® are members the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) for Junior "A". The CT RoughRiders® are affiliates of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders® - members of the United States Hockey League® (USHL) since 1999.
