Guilford, Conn.-- Elite Hockey Program would like to announce Peter Gintoli as 15U Head Coach for the 2018-19 Season. This will be his second season on staff with EHP. Joining him on the bench will be Luke Curadi, current 18U Head Coach.
Currently an Assistant Coach with the 15U team, Gintoli brings a solid background as a player to the bench. Before playing a year of professional hockey with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League, Peter was a 4 year letter winner and Graduate of Salve Regina University in Newport, Road Island. As a senior, he helped Salve Regina to a D-3 NCAA ECAC Northeast Championship in 2016. Prior to College, Peter spent two seasons with the Bay State Breakers in the Eastern Junior Hockey League. Before playing junior hockey, Peter attended near by Notre Dame Fairfield where he played 4 years Varsity for the Lancers.
A native of Cheshire, CT, Luke has been a valued member of the Elite Hockey staff since summer of 2016. In addition to also being 18U Head Coach, Luke serves as Director of Player Personnel for all Elite Hockey Program teams, identifying and evaluating prospective players for EHP. Curadi is currently the New England Scout for the Green Bay Gamblers (USHL) and Philadelphia Rebels (NAHL). Curadi had a strong playing career with time spent in the ECHL, NCAA D1 and USHL.
“We are looking very forward to having both Peter and Luke work together to lead a strong group of 03’s next year,” stated EHP GM Peter Alden. “Both coaches bring a lot of knowledge, energy and leadership to our organization. Both have come to EHP as former players in the professional and college ranks and have worked hard to now apply what they learned in their careers and pass along their knowledge to our current players.”
