Elite Hockey Program is proud to announce its Bantam Major (2004) Staff for the 2018-19 Season. Rob Dow and Frank Butler will continue as Head Coach and Associate Head Coach, respectively, for the 2004’s. Both grew up in the area and were stars at nearby East Haven High School before advancing their playing careers at the NCAA level.
Dow, who was born and raised in Orange, CT, went on to play NCAA Hockey at American International College (AIC). After finishing up his playing career at AIC, Dow started coaching and immediately became one the top coaches in the Connecticut area.
Butler was a four year letter winner at Nichols College in Dudley MA. In 98 career games with Nichols, Butler recorded 98 pts (56 goals, 42 assists) while serving as team captain his senior year. This will be his second year behind the bench for an EHP team.
"Rob and Frank’s commitment level to the team culture and the players is outstanding,” stated EHP GM Peter Alden. “We are fortunate to have coaches with the passion and desire to help develop and advance players. They were high end goal scorers growing up and at the NCAA level and are able to pass on their knowledge to a group of players that love being part of our organization. More importantly, they’re people who work hard to better their players.”
