Jack LaFontaine makes NCAA D3 commitment to Assumption University!

The Elite Hockey Academy at Notre Dame of the Power Prep Hockey League (PPHL) and the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL) are proud to announce that Jack LaFontaine has committed to play NCAA Division III ice hockey for Assumption University .

LaFontaine 18, the 6' Maine native made his decision this week after visiting campus a few weeks ago. So far this year, LaFontaine has posted 6 goals & 23 assists tallying 29 points in 64 games. Along with LaFontaine receiving the NCAA interest, he has also received the attention of other numerous colleges as well. LaFontaine is set to depart EHA after two seasons. He will complete his senior year at Notre Dame of West Haven and enter Assumption University in the fall of 2023.

“I am very fortunate to be able to commit to such a great school and hockey program. I want to thank Elite Hockey Academy and Coach Alden for the past two years for developing and pushing me to become the best player and person I can be. I am beyond excited to get things started at Assumption.”
