Guilford, Conn. - The Elite Hockey Academy organization is excited to announce that 18U forward, Jake Lindstrom, has signed a tender agreement with the Mercer Chiefs of the NCDC (National Collegiate Development Conference).

The Colorado native has been with Elite since 2020 where he began competing for the 16U program. With 42 games played, the dynamic forward has been on a tear. He leads his team in both assists (36) and points (48). This past weekend, Lindstrom was a part of the PPHL All Star Game hosted at Northeastern University, skating amongst the leagues best. Throughout the 3 game showcase he posted 7 points (3G, 4A) catapulting his team to a 3 win weekend to remain undefeated in PPHL league play.

Jake had this to say about his signing, “I really appreciate the opportunity that Coach Broderick has given me and hope to make a big contribution the to the Chiefs’ success and be a player the guys can rely on.” He went on to add that, “I believe this team and staff have the talent and fortitude to help me achieve my goals and I’m very excited to get to work. I also owe a big thanks to Coach Alden and Elite for great guidance and support.”

“Jake [Lindstrom] is a highly talented two-way forward who has great speed, hands, and creativity. He is smart, composed, and makes the right plays. He’s a very well-rounded and efficient player… Jake will continue to prove himself at the next level and I couldn’t be more excited for him to play for Coach Rob Broderick with the Mercer Chiefs!” - EHA Head Coach Peter Alden

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NCDC team and that NCDC team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NCDC team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NCDC and he may not be recruited by any other NCDC team.
