Guilford, Conn.,- The Elite Hockey Academy is excited to announce that 18U Academy forward Brendan Leung signed a tender agreement to join the Ogden Mustangs in the NCDC for the 2023-2024 season.

Leung has been with the Elite Hockey Academy for the last two years. Elite Hockey President Peter Alden has coached him since he arrived at EHA for the 2021-22 season. He believes that Leung has improved his game and earned this opportunity with the Mustangs.

“Brendan has grown tremendously over the last two years,” said Alden. Leung is a smart center, creative, and has strong offensive instincts.  Leung is also an excellent person and carries himself like a true professional."  Alden added

Leung was excited after he signed with the Ogden Mustangs in the NCDC.  " I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity to be the first tender of the Ogden mustangs NCDC. Their team culture, rink atmosphere, and strong hockey community, is something that I cannot be more happy to be a part of."

Leung is also a Senior student here at the Notre Dame of West Haven. This year Leung is taking a full academic course load while playing a full season tier 1 schedule with EHA.  Brendan and his teammates also  are very active in the community.

The Ogden Mustangs  play in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) that is a 13-team tuition-free junior hockey league entirely located in the Northeastern United States. The league and all of its teams are fully united and dedicated to the mission of player development and advancement to college hockey. The Ogden Mustangs  are coached by Kenny Orlando and play out of the The Ice Sheet in Ogden, UT. To learn more about the Mustangs click here
