Guilford, Conn., - Each week, we recognize our EHA players, whose accomplishments on and off the ice stick out among the rest. The players who are selected represent a balance of athletic achievement, sportsmanship and leads by example.

We are also excited to partner with Bauer that is supporting our players and will provide our EHA players of the week with a Bauer winter hat for their recognition. Bauer Hats will be available for pick up— players will be notified when these hats are available.

Read the following articles below to see an expanded list of this week's EHA "Players of the Week" recipients.

Caleb North

16U Academy

This week the player of the week for the Elite 16U Academy team is Caleb North. The 16U season has been a rollercoaster with highs and lows, both collectively as a team, and individually. North met one of those highs on Sunday in Northford against the Wolfpack. After dropping a heartbreaker on Saturday against Yale, the team was desperate for a W with a regional birth in the new year on the line. North lead from the front with his heart on his sleeve. He was the overtime hero scoring his second of the game, he also added an assist to his stat line. It was his fourth multi point game this year.

Caleb had this to say about the award, “it’s an incredible feeling to be on the ice when your team scores a goal.” With the ups and down that have been faced throughout the year he went on to add, “hockey is a team sport, not one person can win or lose a game. We are a new team, with new players from all over the world. We are coming together and this weekend showed the promise we have.”

“Caleb is a leader on our team and it’s great to see a leader step up in the way he did on Sunday. We’ve been working a lot on execution and scoring at practice, so I think some of those concepts and skills are starting to shine through.” - Coach Scott Davidson

12U Forward

Cody McClure

12U Elite Hockey Academy forward Cody McClure put on a show over the past two weekends in a weekend series in Chicago and then a big win over Palmyra BlackKnights in AYHL action. The mighty forward has been on a heater lately for the 12U team adding offense and outstanding defensive play.

"Cody plays a very smart game, is a great team player and is very consistent. His line was excellent last weekend and on Sunday he scored two huge goals that helped us win over the number one team in our league. Keep up the good work Cody" Head Coach, Eric Germain

10U Major

Connor Bocchetta

10U Major forward Connor Bocchetta dazzled the scoresheet last weekend earning him player of the week.  Connor is a versatile player that can play both offense and defense for the 10U Major club.  He's been an impactful player thus far, playing with his unselfish play and work ethic.

"Connor hit the weekend hard pushing the pace for his line. He is always willing to play the right way, and this past weekend was no exception. Leading his team, he was able to contribute to a great win against Yale." Head Coach Kurt Garceau

Congratulations to the top performers! We can't wait to see who is next! Let's go EHA!!
