Christian Nalle

Goaltender

18U Elite Hockey Academy

Christian Nalle has been a stone wall for his Elite 18U Academy team Standing at 6'4. In his 9 games of play, the California native, has posted an impressive 1.70 GAA coupled with a .935 SV%.

"Set your goals high and don't stop until you get there." Said Nalle

This past weekend Nalle collected two wins taking his win total to 6 on the year. His Sunday performance was notable as he shutout the North Jersey Avalanche, facing 25 shots against. The win continued Elite’s unbeaten streak in AYHL play.

“We know what we’re going to get from him. He battles his tail off at practice and it translates over into his games…Coach Alden and are confident with him between the pipes and time and time again he finds a way to make big time saves and bail our team out of trouble” - Assistant Coach Scott Davidson

Jackson Bostoc

Forward

16U Elite Hockey Academy

Jackson Bostock has been waiting in the weeds. This past weekend he came out of his shell and produced for his Elite 16U Academy team. Despite the teams losing record, there have been a ton of positives to take from the year and this weekend was no exception. The weekend saw the 16’s face-off against a few powerhouse squads in the likes of Yale, Mid Fairfield, and the North Jersey Avalanche.

“Hard work and dedication towards your craft will take you places you may not think are even possible.  If you told me 5 years ago when I started hockey that in 5 years I would be playing hockey across the country, I would have told you that you were crazy” Added Bostoc

On Saturday night, something clicked for Jackson as he led his team to a tie against the Midfairfield Jr Rangers. He was involved in all three goals Elite scored, tallying a goal and two assists. His perseverance and resilience has been taken note of and the sky's the limit for him.

“As a Coach, it’s great to see a player harness some confidence and play to his potential. Jackson is capable of being a point producer every weekend and he’s now just scratching the surface” - Assistant Coach Scott Davidson

Stephen "Henrik" Banffy

Forward

10U Major Elite Hockey Academy

Stephen "Henrik " is a player who always strives to make those around him better and see them and his team succeed.  The Elite Hockey Academy is happy Henrik entered the program this season to add to the fire power of the 10U Major team.

"Henrik made a solid impact for his team this weekend. With 2 goals and 1 assist, Henriks  effort was an example to the rest of his team. He is a reliable player and also extremely coachable" - Head Coach Kurt Garceau
