On Labor Day weekend, Elite Hockey Academy's 16U team competed in the East Coast Classic Tournament 2020 Labor Day Cup, winning their respective division.

The 16U Elite Hockey Academy competed in the RED Division – at the ECC Labor Day Cup and finished with a 4-1 record with 15 goals scored against 9 allowed. They then took on red Division – West Division winner Mercer Chiefs for the championship. The 16U Elite Hockey Academy emerged victorious from the championship game 2-1. The team went 4-1 over the course of the cup.

"I am really excited for this group.  We have some great kids and you just keep talking about their development and cohesiveness," Alden said. They've gotten so much better in such a short period of time.  "Our job is to educate them on how to compete, adjust to situations and better prepare. This is a nice accomplishment and we are excited to keep building on the momentum."

The 16U Elite Hockey Academy is just getting warmed up and an exciting season is just starting! They faceoff against the Westchester Express at Home in Northford on Saturday at 6:30 PM and hit the road on Sunday vs USPHL opponent, NJ Hitmen.
