Guilford, Conn., - This weekend was a busy weekend for EHA, as we had a team take on a top ten team in the country, U13 played in two matches, and THE 16U team reached a huge milestone.

18U- In-action against a top team in the nation in the North Jersey Avalanche lost 6-1 in a game that was very chippy. This game featured a lot of after whistle scrums and had a lot of penalties. Evan Brown scored the only goal for EHA this weekend to go along with Ryan Nocireno, who stopped 31 shots. EHA will be in action this weekend at the ECEL Playoffs, facing Boston Advantage, Ontario Hockey Academy and Wenatchee Wild.....where they look to win the ECEL Cup.

16U Premier-It was a memorable weekend for EHA as they clinched a playoff spot for the first time at the U16 level since the 2014-2015 season. They beat the Philadelphia Little Flyers 5-2, and the New Jersey Devils Youth 4-3 in Overtime.  Shea Thibault had a tremendous game against the Flyers as he put up three points and scored his first two goals of the season. Brady Schultz was clutch all weekend long as he had four points, and of them were apples. On Sunday, Cody Spear, Logan Nickerson, and Schultz all had two points. Spear scored the game-winner in OT on the powerplay in a net-front battle. Next up for this team, is the ECEL Playoffs, as they are in first place at the moment, and in position to win an ECEL Cup for the first time in program history.

16U Elite- This weekend they had the weekend off and look to be well-rested heading into the ECEL Playoffs.

13U- With the flu flying around the team this weekend, it was tough for the squad. As a result, it lost both games this weekend. But they look to get healthy this week, and will head down to Westchester County N.Y. to face the Westchester Express on Saturday night, and face in-state rival the CT Wolfpack on Sunday morning.
