Guilford, Conn., - The Elite Hockey Academy of the East Coast Elite League and the Atlantic Youth Hockey League are pleased to announce that 18U defenseman, Chase Conlon has signed a tender in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC).

To date, it is the third tender signed by our 18U team in the 2019-2020 season.

Conlon 17, came to the Elite Hockey Academy after having played in Arizona for the Bobcats. The 6’1/175 lbs. native of Arizona has appeared in 52 games this season with the 18U Elite Academy and recorded twenty six points (9 goal, 17 assists).

"Chase is a player that has worked for all of his opportunities, and has continued to grow on and off the ice. Chases's ability to defend and add to the offense will make him a great addition at the next level." Said 18U Head Coach, Peter Alden

Chase Conlon is a smooth-skating defenseman from Arizona. Chase has taken a big step in terms of his offensive production this year.   Chase couldn't be more excited about the next step of his career.

“I’m excited to sign my tender with the Islanders Hockey Club,” said Conlan. “They have all of the resources you need to reach the next level, and I can’t wait to get started. I can’t thank the Elite Hockey Academy enough for improving me immensely as a player and as a person.”

The U18 team hit the road for an afternoon game in Long Island vs the LI Royals on Thursday.  The 18s look to make a playoff push with the next two weekend ahead.

The Islanders Hockey Club has a long history of sending players to Division 1 and the pro ranks. The program has produced many players that have gone to Hockey East and ECAC Schools. Alumni include Stanley Cup Champions Zach Sanford, Brian Dumoulin, and Trevor Van Riemsdyk.  To learn more about the NCDC, CLICK HERE.

A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NCDC team and that NCDC team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NCDC team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NCDC and he may not be recruited by any other NCDC team.
