Dear Prospective Player:

We are excited to inform you about the Elite Hockey Academy for the 2020-2021 season,  a program that emphasizes a “Complete Development Model”, that also offers an Academy school education with a full season Tier 1 hockey Experience in Connecticut!

Elite Hockey Academy teams compete in a high performance program that includes professional coaching, player development, and exposure.  Our objective is to prepare students athletically an academically with the ultimate goal of competing for championships and placing our players.  Our efforts focus on developing athletic excellence on the ice as well as creating well-rounded individuals off the ice.  Our program’s success will not only be measured by wins and losses, but also by our players’ development and advancement.

Development That Works
Our players receive almost twice as much development as most traditional Tier 1 programs.  With our student-athletes living under one roof, we are able to accomplish so much more than most programs. Each day is fully integrated between hockey and academics.  This helps forge a bond with our players that allows for better development strategies and group cohesiveness.

Our experienced staff, strongly believes in practicing a growth mindset with our student-athletes.  Getting Better Everyday is a simple mantra that we love to repeat.  This applies to our coaching and academic staff as well as our players.  Hard work is not easy; it takes grit, resilience and adaptability.  By teaching our students to understand how these principles work, they learn to understand the positive nature of hard work and how the manage challenging experiences.

The Elite Hockey Academy offers a well-rounded development program for all players that decide to join the program. Our training model includes team practices, position specific practices, specialized training (power skating, goalie sessions, skills practices), strength/conditioning, video sessions, seminars on nutrition/recovery/leadership, yoga, and mental training.
