ECEL Holiday Classic

U18 Charging Forward 

  • Last weekend the 18’s picked up three enormous points in both the ECEL and AYHL. Evan Brown and Jovanni “Chief” Moses each had a big weekend picking up four points apiece, and Daniel Burg put up three goals throughout the weekend. Ryan Nocierno was solid in net as he only allowed five goals throughout three games. The squad is back in action this weekend as they welcome the NJ Titans on Friday in CT and then head down to North Jersey to face the top-ranked North Jersey Avalanche in Saturday, December 7th.

U16 Premier Surging In ECEL Standings 

  • The boys have been on fire since the start of October, and that continued at the ECEL Holiday Classic. They went 4-0 including, two shootout wins to go to the top of the standings at the end of the weekend. Brody Trew scored the shootout winner against NH Avalanche along with two goals against the Boston Advantage as well. The defense was very reliable, only allowing five goals for the weekend. They will be in action on Wednesday against top-ranked North Jersey Avalanche this Wednesday and then return home on Sunday to face the New Jersey Devils at 1:00 PM at the Northord Ice Pavilion. 

U16 Elite Stand Steady by Goaltender Hunt 

  • The squad picked up a big victory over the NC Golden Bears this weekend, at the ECEL Holiday Classic. Shane Parent and Troy Gouevia had two points, and Patrick Hunt made 31 saves for the victory. Knut Hornkvist had a tremendous weekend as he averaged a point game. Up next is a road matchup against the North Jersey Avalanche on Saturday morning. 

U13 Looking Forward to Getting back into Action 

  • The squad got a much-needed break as they had played 10 games this month, including four games over two days down in Philadelphia. They will next be in action this weekend at home against the Ramapo Saints and on the road against the Jersey Hitmen.
