Guilford, Conn. , - Elite Hockey Program alum Jake Fuss has decided to continue his hockey career and education at the University of New England in Biddeford, ME.

Jake Fuss spent three years with Peter Alden and the Elite Hockey Program and recently was playing for the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Knights in the North America Hockey League (NAHL). The forward played three years in the Electric City, where he played in 80 games and put up 45 points including 20 goals this past season.

"The campus of UNE is beautiful and I fell in love with it when I visited.  The coaching staff was really welcoming and approachable during the recruiting process which made my decision easier."  Said Jake Fuss

Jake is joining a program at the University of New England that is coming off a very successful season. The team last year won 21 games and made the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year. They upset Trinity College in the first round, before losing to Norwich in the Quarterfinals. Since 2016, the Nor'Easters have made the tournament twice and have won 56 games.

"Working with Peter Alden and his staff in the off-season and playing for his program has really helped me develop my game and prepared me to play at the next level.  I can't thank him enough" Added Fuss

On behalf of the entire Elite Hockey Program, we are so proud of Jake for his commitment. We wish him nothing but the best going forward and success on the ice and in the classroom.
