DO YOU HAVE TO GO TO NOTRE DAME TO PLAY MIDGET HOCKEY HERE?

No, we offer a 16U American team where our players do not have to attend Notre Dame of West Haven. We also offer a 18U Split Season team.

It is only mandatory for our 18U Academy & 16U Academy teams to attend Notre Dame of West Haven

WHEN WILL PLAYER SELECTIONS BE MADE?

Coaches will be selecting players over the 3 day Tryout period. Players should attend all 3 tryouts

You will receive an official EHA email notifying you which team you have been selected for. This will include a contract and team information.

In order to secure your spot on the team, you must complete the contract and payment within 48 hours of receipt.

WHAT IS THE PRACTICE SCHEDULE?

Practices are one hour, usually at Northford Ice Pavilion. Typically Tuesdays and Thursday (Optional Skills practices are once a week - Monday or Wednesday)

The 18U & 16U Academy teams will also have an extra hour each day for their Academy Skills.

ARE JERSEYS AND EQUIPMENT INCLUDED IN THE TUITION?

16U American, Peewee, Squirt & Mites: Jersey and equipment ARE NOT included in team tuition. There will be an online team store after the teams are chosen where you will order your EHA gear.

18U and 16U Academy: Jersey and bag ARE included in team tuition.

HOW MANY GAMES DO THEY PLAY?

Mites play approx. 35-40 games

Squirts play approx. 40-45 games

Peewees play approx. 50-55 games

16U American approx. 60-65 games

16U Academy approx. 60-65 games

18U Academy approx. 60-65 games

HOW MANY TOURNAMENTS ARE THERE DURING THE SEASON?

Teams will play in 3-4 tournaments a season (1 tournament is included in team cost)

ARE THERE OFF-ICE OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

18U & 16U Academy teams will have training included in their tuition. They will train Tuesdays & Thursdays at MB Sports Training.

IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN?

Tuition for the season is spread over 4 payments: Deposit at signing, then 1/3 of remaining amount due on May 1st, July 1st & September 1st.

WHAT LEAGUES ARE WE IN?

We are members of the Connecticut Hockey Conference (CHC) and the Atlantic Youth Hockey League (AYHL). To Learn More about the Leagues, Click Here

18U Academy & 16U Academy will also be a part of the Power Prep Hockey League
